Speedo Adult Solid Poly Mesh Training Suit
Let s get into the training mode with the Speedo Adult Solid Poly Mesh Training Suit. It is made of 100% Chlorine resistant polyester fabric. This training suit lasts 20 times longer than conventional swimwear fabric with the Four Way Stretch Technology. We need resistance training to be faster, so Speedo's Poly-Mesh Training Suits have a baggy fit to promote drag while you are training. It is designed to resist fading, so it will look good longer. This fully lined suit with inside draw-cord offers comfortable fit and feel and all seams are reinforced for strength and durability. In addition, the suit has Speedo's Logo at front right leg. Pretty Good Training Suit

Unlike the other reviewer, this Speedo mesh training suit fit quite well. The outer mesh was a bit baggier than I thought and I might have done well with one size down. But then who knows - that smaller size might have had the same problems that the other reviewer experienced. Previously, I had been wearing the typical small Speedo and Adidas competition suits. But they seem to wear out faster and started to feel a bit small - almost tiny. Plus I was starting to look for a bit more modesty that the mesh leg version offers, as you guys probably know what I mean.

This suit is advertised as adding a bit more drag for training purposes, but I really didn't notice much difference from my old competition suit. One additional thing to note, however. I chose this Speedo model (#705896) over the similar and more popular (by number of reviews) other Speedo leg mesh training model (#705970) because this model (#705896) has an additional inner support that keeps things nice and tight while doing laps. This difference is not clearly described here at Amazon or at the Speedo web site. So for guys who like that additional support during lap training, go with this one (#705896).

UPDATE (2 weeks later): Although the Speedo mesh training suit was great in terms of quality, it started to feel too baggy and loose, even though I ordered to my exact waist size (36). So I sent it back to Amazon for full refund and ordered one size smaller (34). This size seems just right now. So I take back my earlier comments, and now recommend buying this swim lap training suit one size smaller. I think Speedo went a bit overboard in trying to add comfort in a training suit, or else they thought the baggier it is the more water resistence for better training.

Not for guys with bigger than average legs

The material seems fine, but the fit is completely wrong. The leg holes of the inner suit are not very elastic and cut too small. I wear a confortably loose 36 waist in most everything with a belt. I tried a 36 and 38 and neither fit properly. The waist is much too large and the leg opening are not designed (in size or flexibility of sizing) for anyone not of average or smaller thighs. I was a swimmer in HS and college, but at 6'2" 225 have always been bigger than my teammates. This suit is NOT for bigger guys, athletically built or otherwise. I'm sure the suit works well for 90% of the population, but if your size falls into the upper or lower 5%, look elsewhere.

Perfect

If you are looking for something not that tight for your daily swimming, this are perfect. Good quality, they maintain the color over a the bleach/chemicals used to treat the pool.

I own other speedo suits, and I found this one true to sizes as well. Again, this ones are not that tight and might feel a little baggy and loose, but not uncomfortable at all. I don't find the additional drag considerable, so It's just another swimming suit.
