Sizing Is Off

My lil' gal just turned 9 months. I ordered the 12 month size so it would last a while longer since my miss is on the short side. The suit itself is quite cute, but I couldn't believe how small it was. It looked like it would have fit her at 3 months, perhaps, even accounting for the fact that it was stretchy material. I couldn't even try it on her because I didn't want to stretch it out too much. As an odd contrast, the free jelly shoes were cute but larger than most 12 months would wear. Bummed that this won't work out. I'll have to buy something local where I can hold it up against her.
